The Inn at Eagle Point by Sherryl Woods
1.0

It was written in 2009 and became a Hallmark series (red flags that I willingly ignored), but it wasn't good.

All the characters were unredeemable. Too many characters whose words didn’t match their actions and therefore made themselves more unlikable.

Many subplots were rushed or unresolved. (But makes perfect sense of a book and TV series)

I was not too fond of picking on ADD. Why did the children have to have measles? The H and h both lived in NYC, have jobs, and yet spend months in a bay city in Maryland? Meh.

Also, the book was a clean, closed-door romance, which I should have known when it had a Hallmark logo.

It came in The Ripped Bodice Holiday Hamper 2021, so I gave it a chance. It was the first book (#12 on the countdown).
