This is my first Stephen King book and I’m very sure there are other books by him that are incredible because unfortunately, this didn’t blow my mind.

It started off really well and I was hooked but the second half of the book needed extra attention. It felt slightly dragged :/ I appreciated the details and the atmosphere but I do feel that the pace could have been better. But hey, that’s just me.

I don’t love it but I also don’t hate it. I just think that this could have been a clever crime novel without the added “element”.
