I have taken to only writing reviews about books that have a significant impact on my thinking. And Jon Ronson's SO YOU'VE BEEN PUBLICLY SHAMED fits the bill.

I stumbled across PUBLICLY SHAMED and purchased it because I had recently decided to leave Twitter because I found the shaming, groupthink, etc. despicable. So for me, Ronson's work fed into a belief that I already had, therefore, this review is biased (and I'm okay with this). I believe this is one of the best books written in 2015 and one of the best books written about collective behaviors on social media.

Ronson has done his research and, while there are sentiments expressed without which I don't concur, the work is profound, open, and progressive. Ronson's writing style is refreshing and he has a very likable literary voice.
