It was just okay. I have no idea who R Eric Thomas, I did not when I started reading, and even now as I write this all I know is he wrote some article that went viral on the internet. Could not tell you what the article was or what it was even about.

I picked it up thinking it would be a collection of humorous essays about being Black in America. Some of the stories did make me giggle, but not enough. There were definitely some interesting parts of the stories, but I probably could have not read this and been just fine.
