Heart Bones
by Colleen Hoover
ARC received for an honest review
You could have heard me squee if you were on Mars when I found an early copy of Heart Bones sitting on my Kindle.
Colleen Hoover is an author who has never, ever let me down with her books. It has been a while since I read one of her boosks (I know, I know, you don't have to tell me), but what a book to come back to the fold with.
This book starts off with terrible events, and I was waiting for the other shoe to drop the whole time I was reading. I just know that at some time (if not the entire time I am reading) that I am going to have my heart ripped out.
Beyah and Samson's tale had me on the edge the whole time. We know Beyah's story, but there is something Samson is not revealing to us, and as much as you might think you know what is going on, I bet you you don't.
And I need to know what it is.
The last 25% of Heart Bones really ramps things up. This last part was very emotional. I could feel myself tearing up as events unfolded. I knew it was coming, it always is with a CoHo.
Well played Ms Hoover. Well played.
Buy this book and devour it, you won't be disappointed.
