Super Lovers follows Ren and his relationship with Haru, his older afoptive brother. After Haru gets into a terrible care accident not only killing his step mom and dad but also putting him in a coma that caused him to lose all memories of that summer. Around five years later Ren shows up in Tokyo to fulfill the promise he made with Haru. Haru is now 22 years old and working as a Host. Haru's younger twin step brothers, Aki and Shima, find out that not only is Ren there adoptive brother that their parents took in before they died but that Haru has taken an extreme liking to Ren and is letting him live with him. With all the pressure of feeling like he doesn't belong Ren decided that he wants to move back to Canada were he had been staying these past few years with Haruko, Haru's bio mom.
