Where it happens? How it happens? – one doesn’t know.
There is a sudden onset of an epidemic which causes blindness. The characters have no names. The protagonist is the doctor’s wife who is not affected and has a good vision. The blind people are made to quarantine at an asylum where it turns out to be a battle for survival. As more and more blind people are brought in, the asylum becomes crowded. Sanitation, hygiene and food becomes a problem.
