This being Toni Morrison only short story and it being a social experiment made this stand out to me. The story is told while Toni deliberately removes racial identifiers for each character and leaves it up to the reader to determine which woman is black and which one is white. It addresses how stereotypes and racism can shape our perspective of individuals.
