I wanted more from this. It felt like not enough (plot important) things happened. Almost like a book version of an anime filler episode. Mafi did very heavy handedly imply a future romance between Huda and Kamran. The way they bickered reminds me of Kate and Anthony from The Viscount Who Loved Me. Overall, the book felt very unfulfilling and I’m not sure if I want to continue the series once the next book is released.
