interesting two short stories about grief and death at a young age. the writing reminded me of haruki murakami but without the male gaze, however i’m not sure if that is a result of the cadence of japanese translated to english or a result of japanese culture influencing the writing or if they are actually similar writing styles. neither story had much of a plot but are more like a cute little stories with beautiful writing.
