Such a beautiful surprise. The chemistry between Elena and Nico was intense and engaging. The side characters were well developed but not distracting in any way. The romantic through line was very satisfying to follow. I loved this book. It gave me everything I want in a romance novel. I’ve enjoyed Mafia romances before, but now I know it’s a sub-genre I want to explore more.
