Geez the reviews for this are kinda all over the place but I had a DAMN GOOD TIME! I was invested from the start and honestly didn’t find the pacing slow, I was super interested by the new world-building and the relationship between Zetian and Qin Zheng was DE-LIC-IOUS!!!!! One of my faves of the year idc I’ll go to bat for this series
