I didn’t enjoy this book at all. There were parts where I questioned why I was reading it. But, it’s for book club so I powered through! I’m not even sure if the book tops the movie in this case, because both were flops to me. I didn’t like the characters or the story. I thought the characters were flat. Would teenagers really venture out in such a bad snowstorm? Would they really get off a broken down train? I don't know! But it's too ridiculous to me. If I had to choose one story from it, I’d say Maureen Johnson’s was my top choice. I'm still not a fan of John Green. And Lauren Myracle is too juvenile a writer for my tastes.
