At first Knox and Crew get involved in a sexual relationship but it doesn’t take them long to become friends and then something more. Life throws them a curve ball tho with a trade for Knox to a new city just when they were starting to develop feelings for each other. And it just … sucks! It hurt me to see them face up to the idea that it ended just when it was starting. And oh my heart as they have to deal with their separation. And when things change yet again … so sweet!

This is the first for me from either of these authors and I enjoyed it bunches. It’s got a lot of steam but there are feels too. I will say, I’m not sure where we’re going to go from here. Crew and Knox have already been thru so much and it is going to break my heart if they have more struggles between them as a couple. I get that there may be some issues with their careers or families or whatnot but I really want them to be able to settle into a HEA together. No more drama for their relationship! :)
