Timecode of a Face
by Ruth Ozeki
inspiring
reflective
medium-paced
I got this as an extra in a book box in which I got The Book of Form and Emptiness so I didn't expect much from this short nonfiction book but I was wrong. I really enjoyed this look into how Ruth perceives her own face, before, during and after staring at it for 3 hours in a mirror. I loved the parts where she talked about her family and how she was starting to see more of the resemblances to family members as she gets older. Worth the read for such a short book.
