We are very pleased with this book. Honestly, the description sounded intriguing but I wasn't too sure if I was going to like it. Now it is one of my favourite fantasy books of all time. The court intrigue and politics are phenomenal, the world is incredibly real and detailed. Maia is the perfect MC and I loved discovering how the court worked with him.
