Girls Can Kiss Now

Really enjoyed this collection of essays, probably one of my fave essay collections! I've not read many, to be honest, but these are both funny and poignant, especially when Gutowitz gets into some of her more personal experiences. I have a lot in common with the author in that I'm also a late-blooming lesbian, so I found myself relating to a loooooot of her feelings as she figured out her sexuality and recalled events from her childhood which screamed gay but that we both tried our hardest to repress out of - what? fear, confusion, comp-het, the works.
Definitely recommend especially if you love pop culture. I'm not exactly a fan of pop culture and I still found this highly enjoyable, so if you love it you're in for a treat.
