Such a conflicting book for me. I’m not a fan of wilderness survival stories - I usually find them so tedious and plodding - but I was told this one was different. It was … in a way.
Having just finished this book, I’m still processing. What I can say is that the writing in this book, especially at the ending, was phenomenal. Throughout the book I was highlighting passages that were just … so good that I had to reread them several times to make sure I absorbed it all.
