This book was heartbreaking, funny, bittersweet and a real honest look at what it's like to be lonely as a young woman. 

The feeling that nothing and everything is real, that it's all a performance and yet it is still somehow your life. 

The horrific traumas we bring with us as young women and the feeling of helplessness as you navigate the mess that is dating, relationships and family. 

How hard it is to have unrequited feelings and also how hard it is to see the slow breakdown of friendships that once burned bright and now are nothing more than a like on a photo, through the lense of social media. 

Also coming to terms with that, and taking control, of making the effort and choosing to be present.
