At first, I was surprised that these essays also included the writers' experience with queerness, but I came to appreciate it a lot. Some of these essays were phenomenal to read and then there were others that just didn't make the cut for me. I felt seen by some of them too. Like I thought that maybe I was the only one to experience certain thoughts and feelings with sexuality and gender. I felt seen, heard, and validated; I didn't know that would happen while reading an essay on The Blob.

Overall, this is a decent read. If you are someone in the LGBTQ+ community and like horror, you should give this a read. It's a mixed bag, but it's alright.
