Winter Street
by Elin Hilderbrand
This is the story of a family at Christmas. It is written from multiple points of views and tells you each of the characters back stories whilst moving through a few days of Christmas in real time.
I enjoyed the book but it did just feel like a Christmas episode of a soap drama. There wasn't anything stand-outish, hilariously funny or super romantic about it so I am not sure why this book is so highly raved about, maybe I am missing something or maybe I have just over done it with Christmas reads this year and so have come down a little harsh on this one. Either way I don't think I will be reading the rest of the series.
