I understand that most people think this book is about sharing, and why it's important. Part of me also feels like it's saying 'sacrifice everything that makes you unique so you can fit in and be the same as everyone else.' I think there is room for both interpretations, so I certainly make sure I have it available, but it's not my favorite and I don't usually use it for storytime.
