this book for me is the typical sequel in a series that after finishing the book i have to ask if it was even a book necessary for the series in total.

yes stuff happens but was it necessary in to drive the entire plot point of the overarching series forward?
did it add anything the other two before didn’t?

to me it wasn’t a great one.

our main girl does stupid stuff yet again, doesn’t ask for help -AGAIN- and on top of that i don’t think anything was pushed forward, evolved or developed at all in this book.

on top of that the plot itself felt utterly weak and quiet honestly a bit stupid and underdeveloped.

clearly this book wasn’t what i had hoped for.

i hope the next one will be better again and not another filler.

i am sure lots people will still love this.
the writing - which i didn’t find super just good - is the same as in the other books and as i said crow behaves just as the did. in the first top books -stupidly reckless.
so if that’s what you enjoy about and kn this series this book will be a winner.

i just wanted more.

or maybe i was just not at all in the right mindset for this book.
