I really enjoyed this book. The writing style appealed to me a lot, and there were a few times when I laughed out loud. Cadno the fox is absolutely adorable and I liked all the characters and character relationships. I also very much appreciated reading a kids fantasy novel where the main character is adopted and has two dads. 

The illustrations are charming, and I also really liked the narrator on the audiobook.
