Ragdoll definitely lives up to all of the hype. It is a gory, inventive, story of murder and mayhem with enough black humor and one liners to help lighten it up. Detective William Fawkes (Wolf) has enough baggage from a past trial and commitment to a mental hospital that you can’t help but wait for him to self-destruct on a daily basis. His ex-wife and his ex-partner are both as beautifully flawed as he is. When a body composed of parts of 6 other people (Ragdoll) is found hanging in a flat opposite Wolf’s he has to try and identify the victims as well as the killer. When his ex-wife, a news reporter, starts receiving info from the killer the media turns the entire murder investigation as well as the lives of the main players turns into a reality show. I gave up trying to figure out the who and the why and just settled down for the ride of my life.
