The Pandora Room
by Christopher Golden
This paranormal thriller about ancient myths and disasters brought upon the earth was an adventurous read and kept me entertained. I think the story flowed nicely and it never felt too rushed, despite the setting. The author knows how to create suspense and tell a gripping story.
The characters were just eh though. All of them felt very one dimensional and sometimes even over the top, especially the female characters. I found myself rolling my eyes a lot at the things some of these women would say or do.
Overall, this book was a fast-paced, action packed thriller that has some paranormal aspects. That's a lot going on in one book.
