I can't believe it took me so long to pick up this book and I'm glad I did. I didn't know what to expect, and I got magic and angels and Prague and it was all fascinating. I will say I thought Akiva was weird and creepy, kinda still do. I'm 100% sold on the angel.

The writing was just amazing and Laini Taylor really brought the book to life in such an amazing way. I also really enjoyed how we got to see some of the side characters POV. It made the book feel less heavy and yet still captivating because it never took away from the overall plot or pacing.

I'm definitely a new Laini Taylor fan.
