Beautiful art and such lovely friendships between these ladies! Cookie giving Davene a crystal in her time of mental crisis and discouraging anti-depressants is something my mom has done to me, lol. I did think the scene with Malik was a little anticlimactic, and unless I missed something, Nisha never told the girls who called out her name on the bus? But oh well because I fell in love with these characters and would never get bored of reading about them.
