Great debut. Sometimes mysteries/thrillers contain information not relevant to the story which just makes the narrative long-winded, this one didn't and I appreciated it. The story moved at a good pace and White used prose to the advantage of the story. The ending was not completely unexpected, but I still enjoyed this none the less.
