Postal, Volume 5
by Bryan Edward Hill
Bryan Hill has honestly taken a solid series to an amazing one in these last two volumes.
So this volume a ton of shit happens. Laura puts Mark as stand in mayor. You know the folks around town aren't going to like that. Chris Bremble, our favorite FBI agent, finally meets Issac and the meeting goes very different than expected. So with two major events happening, a ton of betrayal, death out the ass, and a final showdown all coming to a head, Postal is all in now. Who will die? Who will outsmart who? It all comes down to this.
Good: Love the fact each character is given different view points, nobody is perfect, and the ending leaves a lot left to happen. The deaths in this are impactful, fucked up, but they make me think "What's going to happen next?" I also thought the events of Chris Bremble were the best the series had to offer for that character.
Bad: Nothing really...
Overall this was exciting, well drawn, well written, and finishing up the series very strong. It's hard to give this less than a 5 for how much I enjoyed it.
