Tie Me Down
by Melanie Harlow
This has all the tropes you could ever need! Single parent, second chance at romance, friends to lovers, small town, mutual pining and so much more. I thoroughly enjoyed this last installment in the Bellamy Creek series and am so sad that this is the last book! But, all good things must come to an end.
Beckett and Maddie have been friends since childood, but they grew up and went their separate ways. Then, Beckett moved back to Bellamy Creek to take over his family ranch and take care of his ailing father, and Maddie, fresh from a divorce, moves back to Bellamy Creek as well. These two friends reconnect, as Beckett offers to have Maddie and her son Elliot stay with him for the two weeks she is there to sell her mother's house.
I loved this because it wasn't just about the romance, but about a deep respect between the two and a friendship that both of them cherished and didn't want to ruin. I loved Elliot and how much Beckett adored him, and how he built his relationship with Elliot. I'm so glad that Beckett got his head out of his butt and finally pursued Maddie. It was worth the struggle to get to see them have a happy ending. All in all, I think it was a great conclusion to a wonderful series and the epilogue, which featured not only this couple, but the others from the series as well, was amazing and just what I needed.
