Okay. So I read this book for the first time in 2013 when I was in grade 8 and everyone was reading everything John Green back then. I hated this book when I was fourteen because I was so incredibly innocent and naive and I did not relate or understand this book at all. I decided to reread it now, at the age of 22 and wow am I blown away. It is a fantastic book. It’s so damn real it takes my breath away. Acerbically funny and wonderfully existential. I couldn’t help but think of Camus while reading this and his advice to revolt against the absurd. Thank you for letting me create their world in my mind John Green.
