This was a fun vacation-read romance that literally takes place over the course of a vacation. The story also incorporates intergenerational families from multiple ethnicities. I enjoyed the majority of the novel except for the convoluted side plot of the sister

and her cheating husband

. I wish that they had either set that plot line up at the start of the novel instead of just splicing a huge emotional weight into the end of the book.
