A good read for adults with some life experience. Focuses heavily on the end of her marriage to her husband and how her relationship with her wife developed. Specifically, this is a book for a mother who is trying to find her way in the world.

This may have been a four-star read if it were not for the chapter on racism (which I skipped) and the chapter later on in the book in regards to God and religion. It sounds like Doyle is a very religious person, or was at one point and is something she struggles with.
