It's fun, clever and great from an autistic persons view.
Its about a young boy called Christopher diagnosed with a case of autism, but when late one night he goes out for some air he comes across a dead dog in his neighbours yard. He goes to pet it because he liked the dog but it's owner misconstrues his presence as he killed the dog, luckily his loving father bails him out of the situation.
So 15 year old Christopher is trying to find out who killed the poor dog and also solve a few mysteries along the way.

I think Mr. Haddon wrong this book perfectly, sometimes straying from the plot which was a nice refresher and putting you in the head of an autistic person. I would strongly recommend it if you like a light book that will certainly keep your interest.
