This was a fast paced modern fantasy about a girl who can grow plants by rich.

Briseis is a teenager who works with her two moms in their flower shop and she can grow plants by touch. She was adopted so she's alone in this power but her moms are supportive and VERY protective of her.

She suddenly inherits a house from her birth mother. They take the summer and head up there to check it out. They are brought into a strange community and things spiral into chaos.

I really liked Briseis a lot. I love that this is a modern tale with a base of Greek myths (the names you encounter for example). The book was so exciting and I never wanted to put it down!
