Lock Every Door
by Riley Sager
I felt like I was on the edge of my seat waiting for the ride at six flags to start. I was hoping that the main character found her sister in the end but that did not happen. I kept thinking to myself "why do white people fall for things that are too good to be true in most stories nowadays." My self and my friends of color would have been like "Nah I am NOT staying at this place while all of this creepy shit goes down." To each it's own I guess. If you are looking for a book that starts a bit slow then moves quickly this is your pick. This mystery was something I did not expect. I was most grotesque by the relationship between the main character and the attractive doctor in the apartment building. If I was her, there would have not been enough water and soap in the world to erase that sexual encounter.
