All right! We back to quality good shit.

Simon and Jessica now go to the main planet of Green Lanterns and must prove themselves as true green lantern warriors. Guy gets to train Jessica, while Kyle trains Simon. This is both fun and exciting as it teaches them both to grow into stronger and better warriors. Then the last two issues is crazy as the "first one" reveals himself and he's not some push over. He's the real deal. Are Jessica and Simon truly screwed now?

This is a lot of fun. Watching our two rookies learn to fight is wonderful. Character growth comes easy with Humphries at the wheel as he makes both go through very different trials. We also get some great cliffhanger moments here as the next chapter is going to be a blast. The art is a little wobbly at times, the change to the facial expressions is odd. Also some of the past storylines of the first 7 were kind of eh.

Overall though, a nice return to form back to volume 2. A 4 out of 5 for this one.
