Lore Olympus: Volume One by Rachel Smythe

I'm not sure I can rate this rn as I feel overall quite conflicted...
.
I love myth retellings and this one seems to be pretty well done with very contemporary elements added to it which I enjoyed. It was also quite funny at times. The original webtoon format means it will be quite long and allow us to get to know the characters in depth (I hope).
.
The art in some ways is really nice, and in others ways ... Meh. I just don't like how the women/goddesses are drawn (the biggest boobs and bum, tiniest waist, holding themselves in ways that make then seem unreal and oversexualised tbh).
.
I also felt quite unconfortable reading about what seems to be a complicated relationship between two people who clearly aren't on the same level. Our very young and therefore somewhat naive main character falling for a very old and very powerful god? It really doesn't give off a good vibes so far and feels uncomfortable to read.
Let alone the universe of this story revolves around very misogynistic powerful men who do whatever they please (as it is true to the original myths ...).
.
I hope and think my issues will be acknowledged and dealt with in a better way as it goes along, but if I'm judging on this first volume, I'm left unsure and unconfortable.
