Dark Corners by Megan Goldin
5.0

Probably one of the more realistic thrillers I’ve read this year, the second book in the Rachel Krall series has Rachel brought into an FBI investigation after an influencer goes missing. I was very impressed with Goldin’s ability to create a trail of clues that even the average person would be able to follow and that didn’t seem to be overstretching a civilians ability to obtain information.
As per my usual, I thought the little bit of romance was totally unnecessary to the story as a whole unless she plans on continuing it in other books in the series (I don’t even know if there will be more books)
I enjoyed the overall story and thought it moved really quickly and kept me totally engaged the entire time which is all I ask for in my thrillers!
Excited to see what she does next!
