Nolan Moore, think Indiana Jones meets the X-Files, along with a crew attempt to retrace the steps an early explore took to find a mysterious cavern they claimed to have found high up in the Grand Canyon. This book was almost a favourite for meโฆ ALMOST. The plot and story was so fun and really this is the kind of thriller I truly enjoy.
The one issue? The language used in the book for Indigenous people was a little off putting for me.
I could get past the use of โNative Americansโ but seriously. RED SKINNED? We can do better, granted it was only mentioned a couple times but it really wasnโt necessary for the plot.
