I feel like I'm in the minority of people who didn't totally love this book. I did enjoy it, don't get me wrong, it just wasn't quite the enjoyment level I thought I would get after hearing so much about it. I guess that's the thing with hype though - you don't know until you try something for yourself.

In saying that, I still found this book to be good. It just felt at times like it was dragging a bit. I found the characters to be mostly likeable. There was a lot of description involved in the workings of their lives, and I imagine a bit of research done to get this to happen.

The last parts of the book were what really made it for me. There was more happening, there was more emotion, it just brought it to a close nicely.
