I found this book extremely difficult to rate because I enjoyed it and it made me cry (which is not an easy feat), but it was boring at times. Don't get me wrong, this book is beautifully written and the story is incredible, but there were large chunks that I had to force myself to read through. I don't typically read general fiction, so maybe that's the problem.

Spoiler My favorite part (one of the first times I cried) was the chapter where Marx died. Not only was this emotional for obvious reasons, but the way this chapter was written was beautiful! The narrator even changed in the audiobook. I also really liked the Pioneers chapter, where we got to see in game perspectives of the Oregon Trail MMO. I thought this chapter was really creative and beautifully written.
