This was a cute, cosy and whimsical story with a unique take on the concept of weather magic which will probably leave any kids who read the book wanting their own personal clouds. The writing is easy to read and kept me turning the pages. I also love the Shetland setting.
The book is 310 pages long, but honestly I felt it could have been cut down to 200 without any major impact on the plot, and it might have been a tighter, more satisfying story.
I love the cover design, which is by Hannah Blackman-Kurz.
