This is probably my least favorite Marie Lu book that I've read so far, but that's not to say I didn't really like it, it's to say that I LOVE Marie Lu!!! Though I have a striking feeling the series will get better and better as it goes.

Marie Lu is so good at world building in such a simple way, it makes reading her books so fun!!! This one is the beginning of a girl who can create illusions, which is beautiful! It's the story of her evolving into a villain which is so fun! I can't wait to see how Adelina really turns into a huge villain. This book really felt like just a set up for the series, so we will see!
