This book is the first book that the new Anti-Racist book club at my school made up of some of my coworkers decided to read. What a wonderfully made book. As a Black woman, it was so interesting for me to read this book that was written for white peoples. It was actually extremely validating to know that this white woman is using her privilege to help people along their journey. It is not my job to educate people when it comes to race related issues, however, given the nature of my job, I find myself in situations in which I choose to educate a lot. This book has been a beautiful resource for me and I will recommend it to white people in my life who come to me asking what they should do to better our world on terms of race.
