Frieren: Beyond Journey's End, Vol. 1
by Kanehito Yamada
REALLY good start.
Basically Frieren is a elf, and she ages VERY slowly. And so we begin right as a 10 year adventure ended with a group of warriors and her. And she says her goodbyes. The next few chapters have her revisit them as they're much older and passing on. It has this almost bitterness to it, but sweet at the same time with wholesome feels of life and wanting to explore it with others. I really loved the overall feel of this manga, and while the last chapter felt a little weaker than the rest, I'm excited to read more soon.
