A super entertaining story but not as good as the first book. Ripley can’t be as unhinged as in book 1 as he’s keeping a low profile. He’s still up to illegal activity this time in the art world.
Representation in this was less you felt the tension between male characters and Ripley less than in book 1.Ripley has a wife and it’s hard to tell whether his sexual identity has evolved so he’s bisexual or if she’s just there for show if I hadn’t have read book 1 first I think I would have given book 2 a 5 star.
