I think I may have found one of the best first day of school books ever. First off, it is all sing song rhyme that would be great during storytime. But it's the story. The Pout Pout Fish goes from room to room in his new school and he can't do it so he wants to forget it. That is until the right teacher comes along and tells him the 4 facts, that every new student needs to hear. I am in love with this book.
