This is a short but sweet sapphic Greek mythology retelling about Limos and Demeter. She is the goddess of starvation, while Demeter is the goddess of growth.

According to the Fates the two goddesses are to never meet because they would destroy each other. But then one day Demeter shows up at Limos's home after her daughter Kore is kidnapped by Hades. Limos can't get Kore back, but she lets Demeter stay with her.

Reading the interaction between Limos and Demeter was a lot of fun. The sapphic element was nicely included. It was also extremely satisfying when Limos inflicts a gruesome punishment on a cruel and greedy king.
